Miramar beach is located very near that is 2kms from Panaji the capital of Goa. It is one of the famous beach in Goa. It is also very near to the Mandovi River and Arabien Sea that is just 1km. It is situated on the way to Dona Paula beach.

A lovely Golden Beach of soft sand girdled with palm trees facing the blue Arabian Sea, is the nearest beach to Panaji.
Miramar beach is well known as 'Gasper Dias'. Moreover in Portuguese Miramar means 'Viewing the Sea, as one can enjoy the amazing and majestic view of the whole 'Arabian Sea'. Miramar beach is well known for view of Arabian Sea , one can sea many peoples enjoying the beautiful view of the Arabian Sea during sun raise and sun set. The beach is mainly crowded during the evening and night time by locals and as well as foreigners.
The best time to visit Miramar during the November and March, in this time huge number of migratory birds comes to this beach which is very beautiful to see.
The famous Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Dayanand Bandodkar Samadhi, The memorial of Goa's first Chief Minister is also situated near Miramar.
